It supersedes the older number 7785984, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan and touring (330d, 1999–2001), with the M57 engine.
BMW draws it on the Fuel inject.syst./Diesel high-press.pump (13_0802) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for six of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 548 g (1.2 lb).
