Impact sensor side air bag — a genuine BMW part, number 65 77 8 381 564. The number stamped on the part is 65778381564; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8381564. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Other Audio, Navigation, Electronic Systems parts. It supersedes the older number 8375643, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 6902054.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M43, M44, M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.
