26 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW holder, part number 13 31 1 259 196. The number stamped on the part is 13311259196; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1259196. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Other Fuel preparation and control parts. It supersedes the older number 1263274, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Fuel Supply/Pump/Filter (13_0679) diagram. It weighs about 28 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
