The number stamped on the part is 11122245529; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2245529. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 9912338, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, touring and compact (318tds, 325td and 325tds, 1991–1996), with the M41 or M51 engines.
BMW draws it on 11 diagrams, among them Oil Pan/Oil Level Indicator (11_1146) and Engine block (11_1177). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
