Hex Bolt — a genuine BMW part, number 11 22 7 505 573. The number stamped on the part is 11227505573; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7505573. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Flywheel.

It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2003), with the N40 or N42 engines.

BMW draws it on the Flywheel / Twin Mass Flywheel (11_3187) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for six of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 60 g (0.1 lb).
