The number stamped on the part is 13541727006; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1727006. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Throttle valve and operation. It supersedes the older number 1709771, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1727007.
It fits the E36 sedan (318i, 1992–1998), with the M40 engine — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 7 diagrams, among them Cooling System Water Hoses (11_0558) and Cooling System Water Hoses (11_1122). It weighs about 120 g (0.3 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
