This is a genuine BMW headlining cloth, part number 54 31 8 203 867. The number stamped on the part is 54318203867; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8203867. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Sliding Roof / Folding Top parts. It supersedes the older number 8135281, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 convertible (318i, 325i and 328i, 1994–1999), with the M42, M43, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on the Manual/Electromech.Semiautom.Folding Top (54_0180) diagram. It weighs about 1.2 kg (2.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
