Gasket — a genuine BMW part, number 11 12 1 432 885. The number stamped on the part is 11121432885; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1432885. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 1734624, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 1992–1999), with the M43 engine — and the European-market versions. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (316i, 316i 1.6, 316i 1.9 and 318i, 1997–2001), with the M43 engine.
