This is a genuine BMW funnel, part number 13 54 1 401 120. The number stamped on the part is 13541401120; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1401120. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Throttle valve and operation.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (M3, 1995), with the S50 engine.

BMW draws it on the Throttle housing Assy (13_1726) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 147 g (0.3 lb).
