Fuel hose — a genuine BMW part, number 13 53 2 246 959. The number stamped on the part is 13532246959; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2246959. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Injector nozzles and lines. It supersedes the older number 1269854, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, touring and compact (318tds, 325td and 325tds, 1991–1996), with the M41 or M51 engines. It also fits the E46 sedan and touring (318d and 320d, 1998–2002), with the M47 engine.

BMW draws it on 12 diagrams, among them Nozzles/Pipes of Fuel Injection System (13_0094) and Control Units Diesel (13_0102). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It weighs about 45 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
