This is a genuine BMW fuel filter cartridge, part number 13 32 7 811 227. The number stamped on the part is 13327811227; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7811227. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Other Fuel preparation and control parts. It supersedes the older number 7811401, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan and touring (330xd, 2003), with the M57N engine.
