Fresh air grille at passenger's side — a genuine BMW part, number 64 22 1 387 018. The number stamped on the part is 64221387018; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1387018. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Other Heater and Air Conditioning parts.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (318i, 320i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M50, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Air Outlet (64_0162) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 46 g (0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
