02 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW free wheel, part number 24 23 1 422 660. The number stamped on the part is 24231422660; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1422660. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 1421519, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them A5s560z Brake Clutch D/E1/E2 (24_0688) and A5s560z Brake Clutch D/E1/E2 (24_1210). It weighs about 1.3 kg (2.9 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
