01 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Frame, backrest left — a genuine BMW part, number 52 10 8 130 965. The number stamped on the part is 52108130965; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8130965. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Tail trim. It supersedes the older number 9067389, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 coupe and convertible (318i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M43, M50 or S50 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Front Seat Backrest Frame (52_0498) and Front Seat Backrest Frame (52_0499). It weighs about 7.4 kg (16 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
