This is a genuine BMW folding top cover, part number 54 34 7 001 437. The number stamped on the part is 54347001437; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7001437. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Sliding Roof / Folding Top parts. It supersedes the older number 7024840, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Folding top, EH (54_0279) diagram. It weighs about 2.7 kg (5.9 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
