01 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW flywheel, part number 11 22 2 246 487. The number stamped on the part is 11222246487; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2246487. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Flywheel. It supersedes the older numbers 2245538 and 4373652, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan and touring (325td and 325tds, 1991–1996), with the M51 engine.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Flywheel automatic (11_1152) and Flywheel automatic (11_4818). It weighs about 2.4 kg (5.3 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
