Flat spring contact MDK4 2.8 with cable — a genuine BMW part, number 12 52 0 007 252. The number stamped on the part is 12520007252; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0007252. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0141125 and 1718049, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 24 diagrams, among them Cylinder head Vanos (11_2170) and Cylinder head Vanos (11_6209). It weighs about 6 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Repair kit (0492917).
