Flat contact, fan connector — a genuine BMW part, number 61 13 1 387 144. The number stamped on the part is 61131387144; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1387144. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Plug connection, terminal. It supersedes the older number 0492971, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Various comb-type connectors (61_1349) and Various comb-type connectors (61_1804). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It also comes in BMW kits Repair kit (0492913) and Cable Socket Female (0492971).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
