Genuine BMW part 51 47 7 249 656: Flap, DVD Changer. The number stamped on the part is 51477249656; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7249656. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 7130739, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Floor covering (51_4978) and Interior equipment, bottom (51_9093). It weighs about 330 g (0.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
