Genuine BMW part 51 43 8 229 759: Fillister head screw. The number stamped on the part is 51438229759; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8229759. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 8390085, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 1999–2005), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 17 diagrams, among them Trim panel A- / B- / C-Column (51_3249) and E-box (61_1365). BMW's catalog calls for six of these at each place it is fitted.
