Genuine BMW part 65 12 1 361 969: Fading control. The number stamped on the part is 65121361969; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1361969. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older numbers 1356107 and 1363224, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Single Components Stereo System (65_0039) diagram. It weighs about 335 g (0.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
