What's Included

Genuine BMW part 51 16 8 197 908: Expanding rivet. The number stamped on the part is 51168197908; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8197908. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Mirrors, trims, storage compartments. It supersedes the older number 0141100, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 63 diagrams, among them Manually adjust. steering column (32_0950) and Centre console (51_2166). It also comes in BMW kit Set, mounting parts, bumper, front (2411406).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
