Genuine BMW part 67 62 8 360 569: Drive unit, left (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 67628360569; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8360569. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch. drive unit, left”. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Other Electric drive unit/system parts. It supersedes the older numbers 8360055 and 8360517, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan (318i, 320i and 325i, 1992–1998), with the M40, M42, M43 or M50 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Door Window Lifting Mechanism Front (51_2055) diagram. It weighs about 939 g (2.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
