Genuine BMW Part

This is a genuine BMW control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit), part number 24 61 1 421 925. The number stamped on the part is 24611421925; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1421925. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1421501 and 1421503, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1422433.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

It weighs about 454 g (1.0 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
