Genuine BMW part 24 00 7 526 472: Control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 24007526472; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7526472. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7523512, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7529042.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
