This is a genuine BMW control unit DME programmed (exchange unit), part number 12 14 7 539 613. The number stamped on the part is 12147539613; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7539613. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7529959, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7542114.

It fits the E46 sedan and touring (325xi, 2001–2005), with the M54 engine.
