Genuine BMW part 12 14 7 500 390: Control unit DME programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 12147500390; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7500390. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 1430880, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7500316.

It fits the E46 sedan and coupe (323i and 328i, 1999–2000), with the M52 engine.

BMW draws it on the Control unit DME, programmed (12_0897) diagram.
