Genuine BMW part 12 14 1 430 630: Control unit DME programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 12141430630; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1430630. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit DME programmed”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1438749 and 1706124, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (323i, 1998–1999), with the M52 engine — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on the Control unit DME, programmed (12_1993) diagram. It weighs about 600 g (1.3 lb).
