Genuine BMW part 21 21 1 223 567: Clutch Disk asbestos-free (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 21211223567; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1223567. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH-Clutch Disk asbestos-free”. You will find it on our Clutch & Flywheel shelf, under Clutch with drive plate. It supersedes the older numbers 1223260 and 1223568, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i and 318ti, 1992–1999), with the M42 engine.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Clutch (21_0011) and Clutch (21_0020). It weighs about 1.3 kg (2.8 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Set Clutch Parts (1223570).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
