This is a genuine BMW clutch B (exchange unit), part number 24 23 1 421 343. The number stamped on the part is 24231421343; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1421343. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch-clutch B”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 1219818, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1421344.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 3.9 kg (8.7 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
