Automatic transmission EH (exchange unit) — a genuine BMW part, number 24 00 7 626 098. The number stamped on the part is 24007626098; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7626098. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch. automatic transmission EH”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7607850, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7623322.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 47 kg (103 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
