This is a genuine BMW automatic transmission EH (exchange unit), part number 24 00 7 520 041. The number stamped on the part is 24007520041; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7520041. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch. automatic transmission EH”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7508880, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7521140.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 66 kg (146 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
