DVD changer — a genuine BMW part, number 65 12 0 402 553. The number stamped on the part is 65120402553; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0402553. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older number 0391445, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 0414303.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
