This is a genuine BMW drying container, part number 64 53 8 391 313. The number stamped on the part is 64538391313; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8391313. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Other Heater and Air Conditioning parts. It supersedes the older number 1393869, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 8372977.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 940 g (2.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Installing set air conditioning (9408654).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
