Genuine BMW part 71 60 1 137 734: Drawbar load ratings plate. The number stamped on the part is 71601137734; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1137734. You will find it on our Tools shelf, under Other Equipment Parts parts. It supersedes the older number 1135083, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1135082.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 5 diagrams, among them Towing hitch, detachable (71_0066) and Towing hitch, detachable (71_0067). It weighs about 4 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
