Genuine BMW part 41 11 7 060 848: Cross member backrest. The number stamped on the part is 41117060848; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7060848. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Bodywork parts. It supersedes the older number 7015865, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 compact (316ti, 318td, 318ti, 320td and 325ti, 2001–2004), with the M47N, M54, N40, N42, N45 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on the Partition trunk (41_1105) diagram. It weighs about 1.1 kg (2.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
