Photos coming soon
This is a genuine BMW crankshaft, part number 11 21 1 257 909. The number stamped on the part is 11211257909; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1257909. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Crankshaft with bearing. It supersedes the older numbers 1259856 and 1259857, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1338172.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 6.6 kg (14 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
