Genuine BMW part 52 20 7 249 239: Covering center. The number stamped on the part is 52207249239; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7249239. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Seatbelts. It supersedes the older number 7123844, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Seat, rear, cushion, & cover, comfort seat (52_2994) diagram. It also comes in BMW kits Retrofit armrest rear (2183944) and Retrofit Business package (2220083) and 4 more.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
