Cover, striker, top — a genuine BMW part, number 51 44 2 757 520. The number stamped on the part is 51442757520; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2757520. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 2754201, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Headlining / Handle (51_6833) and Headlining (51_6834). It weighs about 40 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
