Genuine BMW part 41 12 7 128 476: cover, floor panel rear. The number stamped on the part is 41127128476; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7128476. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Bodywork parts. It supersedes the older number 8227361, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 11 diagrams, among them Underfloor coating (51_3284) and Sealing cap/plug (51_3757). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 230 g (0.5 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Install.kit, independent heater (0428458).
