Genuine BMW part 61 31 7 067 801: Control unit, seat memory. The number stamped on the part is 61317067801; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7067801. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Switch. It supersedes the older number 7019255, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54, M56 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Control unit, front seat (61_2016) and Body Control Units and Modules (61_2123). It weighs about 190 g (0.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
