Continental CST 17 — a genuine BMW part, number 36 12 0 414 253. The number stamped on the part is 36120414253; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0414253. You will find it on our Wheels & Tires shelf, under Other Wheels parts. It supersedes the older number 1508369, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Summer tyres (36_1268) and Summer tyres (36_1272). It weighs about 3.7 kg (8.2 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Space saver wheel with tyre (1508367) and Space saver wheel with tyre (2358782).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
