This is a genuine BMW connecting rod bolt, part number 11 24 1 713 342. The number stamped on the part is 11241713342; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1713342. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Connecting rod with bearing. It supersedes the older number 1267147, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43 or M50 engines — and the European-market versions.
