Genuine BMW part 62 30 9 381 842: Combination glass, head-up display. The number stamped on the part is 62309381842; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9381842. It supersedes the older number 9286416, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Head-up display (62_0585) and Head-up display (62_0609).
