Comb type connector — a genuine BMW part, number 61 13 1 387 150. The number stamped on the part is 61131387150; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1387150. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Plug connection, terminal. It supersedes the older numbers 0492972 and 1387145, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Various comb-type connectors (61_1349) and Various comb-type connectors (61_1804). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It weighs about 10 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kit Comb type connector (0492972).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
