Clutch a — a genuine BMW part, number 24 23 1 421 398. The number stamped on the part is 24231421398; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1421398. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 1219925, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1422691.

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
