Clip — a genuine BMW part, number 34 21 2 227 672. The number stamped on the part is 34212227672; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2227672. You will find it on our Brakes shelf, under Rear wheel brake. It supersedes the older numbers 2229754 and 6750698, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2282198.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
