Genuine BMW part 72 11 1 862 636: Clamping. The number stamped on the part is 72111862636; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1862636. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Parts and accessories, body parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0360307, 0391738, 1845043 and 1845044, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 47 diagrams, among them Front Safety Belt Mounting Parts (72_0007) and Front Safety Belt Mounting Parts (72_0008). It weighs about 4 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
