This is a genuine BMW clamp, part number 64 53 1 357 128. The number stamped on the part is 64531357128; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1357128. You will find it on our AC & Climate Control shelf, under Other Heater and Air Conditioning parts. It supersedes the older numbers 1119116 and 1466290, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i and 318ti, 1992–1999), with the M40 or M42 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 64 diagrams, among them Cooling System Water Hoses (11_1122) and Cooling System Water Hoses (11_1158). It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
