What's Included

This is a genuine BMW clamp, part number 52 10 8 151 454. The number stamped on the part is 52108151454; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8151454. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Tail trim. It supersedes the older number 0307488, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (318i, 320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 13 diagrams, among them Headlining, front (51_6922) and Rear Seat with Child Seat (52_0801). BMW lists the quantity used as “as required”. It also comes in BMW kit Retrofit Business package (2220083).
